Meet Mary D’Alba

I’m a metaphysical practitioner and teacher. 

I bring years of corporate training and program development into the spiritual world. 

My mission in this work is to help empower others to find what is important in their lives, tap into their passions and help her clients live their best life ever.

How did you know you had gifts?

I was one of those kids that knew who was calling when the phone rang - we didn’t have Caller ID back in the day.  It grew when I graduated college and went into the corporate word.  I had an incident where I kept hearing a voice tell me to go check my office to see if it was locked.  I ignored it, I was talking to one of the managers in his office.  When I walked back to my office, I found my purse was thrown on the floor and someone took all my cash and credit cards.  Things like this kept happening so I went to talk to my friend who was into New Age and Spiritual studies.  She pointed me towards some books and teachers and a whole new world was opened up to me.  I am very blessed that I found this path and I work hard at strengthening and honing the gifts given to me.

Which one did you discover first?

The first one was the Psychic gift.  I was able to see and hear things before they happened, that little whisper or nudge that pushed me a certain way.  And sometimes it was just to tell me to take an umbrella or go down a different road that I usually took to a place I routinely went to!  But I find the simple then moves into the complex and there was an intuitive guidance from my guides to reveal with me what was to come.  Now I pass this gift onto others so they can decide how to move forward.

Which one brings you the most joy?

This is a tough one - they bring me joy for different reasons.  I love being able to connect clients to loved ones that have passed.  I enjoy seeing people get off my Reiki table more relaxed and refreshed.  It thrills me when people come back to me after being coached and they can see the progress.  All of it is life changing and I think that’s the part that brings me the most joy - helping people see their potential or connect them to their power to transform.  Whatever tools that are used to do that, luckily I have a whole toolbox to choose from.

How did you get into this type of business?

The business seemed to have chosen me.  I was laid off three times in three years and it was time to venture into my business as a full time passion.  I felt like the Universe was throwing me into my work full time and since I was nervous to do that on my own, the Universe gave me a gentle but very firm push.

Previous to that, I always did this work part-time, on nights and weekends (and maybe an occasional “cough cough” day off from work).  It always gave me joy to interact with all my clients and guide them.  There is nothing like seeing the light come back into someone’s eyes.

Why you do this?

First and foremost, I do it to help people, to assist in relieving grief and hurt and change it into their greatest strengths and power.  There is nothing that can’t be accomplished when someone is healed.  My job is to bring people to their ultimate peace.  In doing that, my clients can see how much their lives can change.  Then the world changes.  And we all want the world to be a better place, right?  We’ve got a legacy to leave behind to others and we need to make it as positive as possible.  It starts with us and my role is to help people see how special, strong and unique they truly are.

Art is a huge part of my life.

I appreciate many mediums and love to practice and push myself into new creations to bring beauty and inspiration into the world. Sometimes I never know exactly what is going to happen with my blank canvas or when I pick up my camera to snap photos. I know and trust the Spirits will give me the gentle nudge to look for the beautiful moment to capture or choose the right mediums to play with and create. Poetry is speaking the spells of the spirits and I love to see what they have to say. Sometimes the words and art move together to weave light into all my works.

There was a time that I doubted my talents but I realized that my experiences as a Psychic Medium and connection to the Spirit World would always have my hands and eyes to help me create. It’s a blessing to put something together to make someone happy and express the awesomeness of all the colors in life.
