Mercury Goes Direct - June 22nd, 2021
Since May 29th, Mercury has been sleepy, causing delays in travel, business, commerce and, of course, what Mercury is known to rule - communications. How did it go for you? Did you do some reflecting on how to communicate during this time? Packages arrive late or get lost? Notice how traveling took longer or wasn’t as expected? Mercury Retrograde was the culprit.
As of 4:39pm ET on June 22nd, the communications planet comes out of retrograde and moves direct. Phew. This one could have been challenging for some since it was in its ruling planet of Gemini. In other words, the place Mercury feels the most at home was disrupted and we all got to feel Mercury’s pain. We made it through the toughest one this year so breathe a sigh of relief - we’re out of the Retrograde woods!
Be aware - June 22nd may be a final intense day as Mercury makes the switch. Don’t be surprised if eyes are opened or something is revealed that you’ve had suspicions of or has felt like it’s been building.
I personally felt Mercury Retrograde when I tripped the anti-theft system in my car at 10pm one night. I try to start my car. Nothing. As much as I tried, and googled resolutions and tried again, it would not start. I’m glad the anti-theft system did it’s job but I needed to get home! A tow and a Uber ride later took care of it. When I went out the next day just to see if it would start - yup. Turned right over. Ah, Mercury. You always like to play with my car during Retrogrades.
You’ll notice now the things Mercury rules will now seem and be smoother. It’s easier to reach people, say what you mean without misunderstanding, travel will be cruising along with no delays and you might find packages that might have been lost get delivered.
Keep in mind that Mercury has been in a deep slumber for 3 weeks so as it comes out of retrograde, we may be feeling the grogginess of Mercury just coming out of the deep sleep. (You know how you are when you wake up before your coffee? Yeah, that.) We call it the Shadow Period after Mercury Retrograde. You may still have some things to work out from Mercury Retro - exes or ex's-friends popping up, for example, may be lingering around until you deal with them once and for all. It’s not quite as strong but you’ll have to clean up the remnants of what was unwrapped during the Retro. It’s also a good time to keep planning and be cautious of execution. Hang on until July 7th - then Mercury is full steam ahead.
The next Mercury Retro is September 27th through October 18th in Libra. We’ll be focused on relationships and partnerships then. But let’s save that discussion for another day.
In the meantime, it’s full speed ahead for you in your day to day connections and travel plans. Enjoy the next few months of smooth sailing!
Bottom Line? Mercury is moving direct finally but be aware there may just be a few more weeks of double checking your words and travel plans. You’ll finally feel like you can move full speed ahead after July 7th. The worse retrograde is over so enjoy how quickly things are moving in your favor!
