Ah, Venus. She is a beauty and loves all the finest things. On June 2nd, Venus moves from the air sign of Gemini to the water sign of Cancer. Venus was thinking pretty hard about her emotions from May 8th to June 2nd so while you might have gotten some clarity about how and what you were feeling, you might have actually not really noticed how you were feeling at all! Your brain could have gotten in the way and your heart might have been raising its hand saying “Um, hello? What about me?”
With Venus now being in the most emotional water sign, the heart finally gets its chance to dive into those passionate waters. Awesome, right? Well, it can be! You can help yourself and others feel secure, be a really good listener and get to the bottom of the matter and intuition, especially about love, can be spot on. This is a great time to let those you love HOW much you love them, do those special or thoughtful things for them and strengthen relationships with those you love.
On the flip side, Cancer heightens emotions to a place that can be overly emotional, irrational or unstable. Imagine Venus crying (with an expensive handkerchief, of course) and needing reassurance that all is okay more than once during this time. Take a deep breath, don’t let your emotions run away and incorporate a bit of logic in your emotional thinking. Letting your emotions run away can cause misunderstandings and confusion, especially adding in Mercury Retrograde until June 22nd.
Bottom Line?
Make your relationships stronger and deeper with the sensitivity and understanding of the Cancer Venus. Utilize security, snuggling, the coziness of home and closeness. If you read too much into things, fly off the handle or blow up, you could be doing a lot more making up than enjoying yourself. Take a breath and sleep on it. Cooler heads will prevail.
