Dazed around the Stars

Note: It’s been a long time since I wrote poetry. This one flowed out early in the morning during a balmy October day. I hope this makes you feel warm-hearted. ~M

We don’t know what we don’t know.

You are loving yourself more and more each day.

So, at least you are there.

As you do that more,

The doubts and the hurts

will start to fade

More and more

Look at how much you’re trusting yourself now!

Honoring yourself!

Standing up for yourself!

These things are not easy.

And yet -

You keep doing them.

Growing,

Changing,

Blossoming.

Change is painful until it is integrated.

Even as you love yourself,

You change,

Which is painful.

So trust that the change

Will no longer be change.

It will be truth.

It just doesn’t happen

Overnight

For something so

Core in us.

If you think about it,

How you love yourself is new!

Old programming is buried in there.

Digging it out is effort,

but you’re not giving up.

FUCK NO!

You’re persevering.

You’re strong.

You’re capable.

And you are worthy.
