Astrology for October & November 2024

What does Scorpio season bring us? Starting October 22nd at 6:14 pm ET, we move into the intense energy of power, the subconscious, drive, and the shadow (i.e., the places we don’t like to look at within ourselves). The only way to triumph over our fears is to face them, and Scorpio energy is the ruler of our depths. Take time for deep reflection; if you decide to disappear for a little while, don’t worry; the self-focus will be worthwhile. The right people will be there afterward.

And speaking of Scorpio, we have a double dose on November 1st at 7:47 am ET when we experience a New Moon in Scorpio. New Moons encourage us to start a new 30-day cycle so you can set intentions for that month. You can manifest whatever you want!

Here's a tip: Think about tasks that will help you unearth parts of yourself that would be helpful. In other words, do you want to manifest money? Ask for opportunities from the woodwork that would utilize your talents.

Our chatty planet Mercury wants to tell the truth when it moves into the sign of Sagittarius on November 2nd. Know a Sag? They are known to be blunt and the truth tellers. And hey, even more good news? Mercury will be retrograde from November 25th - December 15th. Watch out for misunderstandings, double-check details, give yourself extra time for travel (even more than usual), and shop early or have a backup gift plan. I would not be surprised if there were a disruption in the delivery timelines or companies.

Your work for this time? PATIENCE.

Once Mercury starts moving direct on December 15th, we enjoy the Sagittarius Mercury energy until January 8th, 2025.

Juno, the asteroid (or minor planet), travels into Scorpio on November 3rd. Relationship focus becomes powerful. This is the tipping point for essential relationships in your life. Juno (or Hera, in Greek) was the wife of Jupiter (or Zeus). Jupiter was up to shenanigans, and Juno stayed as his ever-loyal wife (well, on the outside, not so much behind closed doors because Juno would let.him.have.it.). If you contemplate making a bond closer, think twice; it may be hard to break them as Juno stayed no matter what Jupiter did.

Also, on November 3rd, Mars wants to be seen as the leader or star of the show when it moves into bold Leo. Our hearts will be full of courage as we can be acknowledged for who we are. Our moves can be strong, and we may feel our deepest fears disappear as we enter the (golden) light. In the US, we may see some last-ditch efforts for a power grab in the run for President. It doesn’t look like it will work, but we’ll see each other on November 6th (or a few days after).

November 11th, we see our goddess of love and beauty, Lady Venus, get serious about finances, reputation, and business/career. It’s a glow-up for everyone - discipline and consistency in our appearance (physical) and appearance to the world; we’ll see it pay off. (haha). But seriously, get those bills in order, clean out the closet, and get rid of the old things that are not serving you anymore.

Father Saturn calls up reality the next day when it finally goes direct in the watery, dreamy Pisces. If we've been planning our dreams, Saturn kicks us into action when it moves forward. No more spinning around in circles. Move forward on those things we want to create. There is no more time to waste, Saturn says.

November 15th calls us to review those practical things when a Full Moon charges through in Taurus. What have we done to make our physical life better? What have we done to fill out the bank account more? Do you have to buckle down on your excess? It's not a bad time to look at this - new habits now can come into the new year.

Scorpio season goes out with the dawning of a new era when Pluto finally moves into Aquarius for the next 20 years on November 19th. We will continue to see power and influence change over this time. Aquarius is the rebel, the inventor, the disrupter, and the unexpected. Whenever something changes, we will hear about structures crumbling because of new ideas or actions we can’t ignore anymore. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was 1778-1798. What happened then? Only the American Revolution, the French Revolution, and the start of the Industrial Revolution. What does it mean for you? It's a revolution for you, depending on where it lands in your chart. The quicker you face it, the faster it heals or reveals. You can handle it and reach out for help and support. We all need a lift once in a while.

Lots of changes during Scorpion time. Would you like to know how to navigate it? Check out my 6-month astrology reading to get a plan on how to handle it — book at this link!
