Venus goes Retrograde in Capricorn

Retrogrades. We don’t always love to hear they’re coming up. Yes, a planet in retrograde isn’t at its full power and can cause confusion. It also makes us go inside to review what we know and what we want. Venus Retrograde is asking us to go in and see what our values are. What do we want from relationships? How do we feel about ourselves? 

With Venus being in sign of Capricorn, we could be focused on relationships with those at work. All relationships may come under the microscope. It may be that a conversation is in order. Best outcome for this is to not get personal. If you let emotions take over, it could get cold and hurtful. Keep it on track and don’t bring other non-relevant things into it.

And I know I say that Mercury Retrograde can bring back exs but Venus also can bring back exs. This may not necessarily be to reunite but to close the chapter once and for all. Retrogrades can bring back unfinished business so it can finally be done.

Now here’s a big one - getting engaged or married during Venus Retrograde is not advised. Of course, that doesn’t mean you need to cancel plans. The event may not go as planned so double check all your details. Also, conversations need to happen to make sure everyone is on the same page. Doubts may rear their ugly head - squash them out by putting them in the light and working through them. Or… it may be the sign that something has to change that is a deal breaker or it’s not going to work.

Bottom line?

Look inside for the things that make you happy, what is important to you and what your values are. What do you want in your life? WHO do you want in your life? Your happiness has to come first. Be true to yourself. That’s what Venus would do.
